NIKE

We were asked to create an intimate space for VIP clients to come and try on the Nike brand and have a private dressing experience which was separate from the retail shopping atmosphere. With a tight budget we reinterpreted sofas, chairs and stools covering them with a faux leather, covered over frames as well as upholstery. The ensemble was located in a space clad with reclaimed gym flooring, both on the walls and floor, creating a warm and distinct space. We collaborated with designers Precious Mcbane to realise this project.

The second proposal was a series of publicly installed installation pieces which suggested heroic posses from moments in sporting history. These inhabited installations were to be constructed with folded steel sheet with internally clad rubber panels for comfort. This project was never realised.
