This small Victorian Terraced house, in a conservation area, was more or less reconstructed from new. The front elevation retained the line of the existing street facade but the rear was opened up, allowing light and air to envelope the space.
A new floor was added extending the volume. Itʼs low budget nature required simplistic construction, materials were chosen for their robust nature and ageing qualities, details were simple and clear.
