The third in a chain of three venues for Out N Out Leisure was located in the grade 1 listed former Corn Exchange in the centre of Leeds. Located on the lower ground floor, light and access was a major concern to us. During the 80's it's first refurbishment saw a large 20m hole cut in the trading floor, this led us to use this device, the 20m circle, shift it across the plan, then extrude it to create a volume of space which subsequently became the bar. Then cutting into the drum, creating pivoting doors and sliding walls, the space transformed throughout the day making flexible spaces.
